    This is the most common question we get, and the honest answer is: it depends on your business and your timeline. Google Ads works best when people are actively searching for your service. If someone types "tax preparer near me" or "HVAC repair Tampa," they already know they need help. Google puts you in front of them at that moment. It's faster to produce results, and the intent is higher. The tradeoff is that search volume is limited — you can only reach people who are already looking. Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) work best for building awareness and reaching people before they're actively searching. You can target by location, age, income, and interests — which lets you get in front of the right audience even if they haven't started shopping yet. It takes a little longer to see returns, but the reach is much wider.
